I have owned GE appliances for over 50 years. it is my go to brand. We just moved into a new house and did not like the appliances there. I went to my local appliance store and said that I wanted a GE range with a convection oven. the sales person suggested this one and I am glad he did. I love it! This range was purchased in a GE "package". The range does not bake evenly....the range gets very hot after using the baking cycle. 425 degrees caused an uneven 'hot spot' baking the cubed sweet potatoes and is too hot for continued use. When using the oven the entire range box gets hot and the top back stainless control panel gets too hot to touch Would not recommend this range and very disappointed with the quality of all the appliances! Also replacing the side by side refrigerator.

I bought this in December of 2024. The preheat function / bake function are no longer working properly. Preheating to 350 took more than an HOUR, and the oven is not maintaining the set temperature, once the pre-heat temp is reached.

I like the stove. Only 3 problems. 1. Grill in the center is not easy clean even after I did some extra seasoning. 2. The shelves in the oven are not level even after I had it leveled twice after installation. 3. The bottom removable drip bottom is not easy clean. First drip from pizza can not be cleaned. Cooktop works great as does the oven - baking , air fry. I have not used the convection oven option yet or the steam clean.

My range is beautiful and underused until this heat dome moves on. I like the way it starts, the oven drip pan, etc., but I find it a bit tall for my 4'10" frame. I should have considered that more before purchase. As long as I'm standing on a step stool it works, although not ideal.

BLUF: it works, the wifi is useless, and the build quality is CHEAP. The stove works as expected. Wifi is cute, though I am reluctant to turn it on when I'm not present in the house. Functionality is okay, no complaints there. I wish there was some stove cover that would fit, but the top is so far from flat that I could not find anything. The bottom drawer does not sit straight and is rough to pull out / push back in. This is typical of all old and cheap stoves. It's a drawer, not a rocket, I am sure great American engineering minds can engineer it to an Ikea level at least.

Have had stove for a few days & only have one complaint - but would have gotten something else had I known. When oven is used top of oven door is VERY hot when opened. Burned my legs when bending over to remove something from lower rack Never had this issue with any other stove. Otherwise seems to work well & price is reasonable.

Just What We Needed And More

This range is terrific! We haven't tried all the features yet, but are very happy so far with what we have used. The range is attractive and has two quick-boil burners. Temperatures in the oven are reliable and things seem to cook faster that the did with our old stove. The control pad is easy to access and is for the most part pretty intuitive. We are experimenting with the Convection settings with successful results, but haven't tried the Air Fry yet (I have a countertop Air Frier so really don't need that function anyway). There are a couple things I would change, however. The two quick-boil burners are at the front of the cooktop. Most of the time I don't need to boil something quickly, so it has bee n a challenge to learn how to modify the heat so things don't burn. It would be better to put at least one of these in the back, and move the simmer burner to the front. The other thing is the drawer beneath the range (where a broiler would be in a traditional stove). It is quite shallow and flimsy. In fact, I would say this is the biggest weakness of this range. It feels flimsy when you open it and there is barely enough room to store my cookie sheets. Over all we are very happy with this range.

If you only use the 4 regular burners, this range does a great job, whether you need a fast boil or a very low simmer. However, the center burner with the griddle does not heat evenly. Looking at the flame below it, the flame is higher toward the front and lower toward the back, so items don't cook at the same rate. The material of the griddle and grates is heavy duty and easy to clean. The oven doesn't cook evenly either. It cooks items like bread and muffins more on top and less on the bottom, though moving the center rack down to the lower half of the oven helped somewhat. Cooking 2 trays of 6 muffins each, side by side on one rack, turned out to be a disaster. Top part of muffins got too done and bottom half was undercooked. The controls are clear and connects adequately to wi-fi. So my phone tells me when the stove is on, when the timer ends, etc. I have not tried the air fry option. The easy wash oven tray is a welcome feature. Knowing what I know now, I would not buy this range again. I had higher expectations of a GE product.

My only complaint thus far is it didn't come with an instruction manual. I couldn't figure out the digital controls. But luckily I was able to print a free owners manual online. So far I am pleased with the gas burners and griddle. The burner controls are nice. The oven baked well.

I just wish the middle burner was more BTU'S I can't hardly sear a steak on the cast iron griddle that came with the range . But over all I love this range over my previous range that was A Samsung. That one also had the middle burner that was useless. I think the removable oven tray will come in very handy. GE is an amazing brand of anything
