W are happy with our new gas cooktop. The assortment of burners, size, and output. is good. We would have preferred the smallest burner be in the front as it is the one that we use most.

I purchased this many years ago at the Brookfield Penny's appliance sale and sat in the basement in the box. I finally decided to remodel the kitchen with new counter tops and this cooktop was installed. Love it. Should have done this year's ago. Roger

I previously had an electric stove top and was happy with it til it didn't work any longer. I switched to gas in my home and I LOVE LOVE LOVE how well this stove top works! I'll be cooking more often. It's actually FUN now!

The process for lighting and regulating the burners seems backwards. The process requires turning the valve counterclockwise to light the burner and then further to lower the flame. Most other stoves and cooktops are set up the opposite way. There is no mention of this in the manual and I was initially confused and a bit frustrated. One simple line in the manual would have been very helpful and appreciated.
I do find it very easy to keep clean with the lift off grid being very easy to remove.

Stovetop stains easily and rust color marks are found after use. I had to scratch with my nail to remove it. A yellowish stain appeared after one use and does not go regardless products and effort. Cheaply made and absolutely would not buy or recommend. I am trying to get my builder to give me another model or make.

Beautiful cook top. This one compared to the one I removed that was 20 years old has a 3 prong plug so some small electrical work was needed. The old one had a shorter rounder bottom this one is perfectly square so I had to cut back some of the countertop to drop it in . After the minor change it's up and running and it perfectly in my updated kitchen.

This is a great, smooth product! The ignition is so soft sounding, and the knobs are easy to use! The appearance is fantastic and the top is easy to clean! Would recommend for any replacement stove top!

The stove is a replacement from an older version. The bigger burner for larger pot is a very nice and welcomed addition to the stove. The stove controls are easy to use and quick ignite of the burners. I really like the deep surface for those times pots boil over. Make it quick and easy to clean up.

The GE 4-Burners Cooktop is easy to use and has no issues so far except recently the Spark was coming but no Flame may be due to the Moisture etc. The technician came in 10 days based on the availability and by that time gradually the Cooktop started working as normal. I have attached couple of pictures after 1 year of use.
I would recommend this Cooktop due to its look, easy to use and clean and also the surface looks shiny once clean properly. The controls are good and dimensions also suitable for small kitchen too.
Only thing is, if something breaks down then to appointment with BODEWELL is difficult to get and may not be possible at least a week out.
Please note, to get the Serial Number of the model is required all the way to open and lift the Cooktop base or the Oven underneath has to be taken out. GE should provide the S.No. in easy way but they do not want people to use the Warranty and get this easily.

I've had the new stove top for 3 weeks now. I like that it is easier to clean. Even the burner tops come off which they did not with the last stove. The grates are easy to remove and clean. With some models I looked at I could barely lift the grate. These are easy to replace. My last cooktop was like a jigsaw puzzle. I just have to get used to the placement of the knobs since they are different from the last cooktop. The last cooktop did last for 17 years so I am hoping this has the same durability. So far, so good....we'll see..........

This cook top is easy to clean, and has three different strength burners. The cooking surface is far from the flames (2 inches), so a lot of heat is lost around the edges of the pot or pan.

Bought this to replace the scratched up GE cooktop that was in our condo when it was purchased in 2018. Burners ignite quickly and grates are machine washable (but still benefit from a gentle scrubbing when food gets burned on). The stainless steel cooktop is much lighter and thinner than the previous GE Cooktop it replaced. Wish we could move the burners around to the layout on our original cooktop, with the largest on the extreme bottom right. It would be easier to lift heavy liquid filled pots over the controls and onto the counter.

The burner grates at too high from the flame and too bulking when trying to clean up a spill. The surface is very touching to spots and spills. Had a spill that was not able to clean up right away ( grates were too hot to handle) and it took forever with 3 different cleaners to remove the tarnish it left. Not a very good design.
