Great Range Hood

Fun in the Kitchen 10/24/2025

This unit is really good. Pretty quiet even on high speeds with great volume of suction. Absolutely love the design of the unit. Controls are pretty good, however are quite away under the hood. I love the filters as I can take them out and put them in the dishwasher for cleaning. Which is good but not great as the loose their shiny appearance. Overall, I LOVE IT!

Disappointed in design

I am disappointed that the top is not sealed all the way back for cabinet install. The design should be that its solid metal not a dip down that basically will be a dust collector that cant be easily dusted off but will require a vacuum cleaner to keep clean!! Also the fact this is not to the specs of 30 inches wide so end up with gap between cabinet side and vent hood side not happy about that either!!

Bad Specfications

Specifications on website does no match actual product. Website describe the hood being 30™€ wide. We had custom cabinets built to accommodate 30™€ width, actual width was 29-1/2™€. I now have 5/16™€ gap on each side between hood and cabinets. It really looks bad!!

Just the hood I was looking for; simple and efficient. The extra parts and extra costs required for recirculation (rather than ducted) were not anticipated, especially for the higher purchase price, but it is what it is.

This product is nice. Instructions are NOT complete for certain installation. NO ONE AT GE CUSTOMER SERVICE has ANY knowledge of installation on this hood!!! Just a bunch of women that don't know the difference from a screwdiver to a pair of pliars!!! LOL!!!! Sorry women that actually do know how to do HandyWork around the home!!! THe features are perfect for medium to ligh cooking. The charcoal filters were VERY easy to install. Looks like a PROFESSIONAL Kitchen now without the UGLY Microwave over the stove look!!!!
