Dryer does a great job drying very large loads. The smart drying cycles do a great job in saving energy. Its quiet as can be. We use it along with the matching washer and they work great with each other. The smart features work really well.

Good Dryer after repair done after two days

I am very happy with the dryer but adfter lt was delivered it was discovered there was a huge dent in the back side after two days of using the dryer and it was not heating. I had to call LG out for a repair and the tech is whom noticed the dent. She indicated it probably dented after falling from a crate. She was able to fix and aid it wine cause any ongoing issues. Because I purchased from Home Depot and I was delivered on a Thursday I didnt notice until the tech did do couldnt report the issue since it was after the 48 hour window. The tech did not arrive until a Monday.

I purchased this signature dryer in September with the signature washer and sidekick. Youre obviously employee with LG so theres no need to tell you how much I spent. Along with treating myself to a deluxe washer and dryer Ive also purchased a refrigerator stove microwave dishwasher 83 inch OLED TV and surround sound systems all LG brand Youre welcome by the way. I recently had service on the dryer which was a bad igniter and Im a little bit disgusted at The fact that this dryer was only used approximately three times before I noticed something was wrong. Im in single man with no kids and typically when I do laundry my clothes sit in the dryer until Im ready to use them but this time I was getting ready for a Family sleepover and needed to wash a load of washcloths Thats what I noticed soon as the dryer notified me on my phone that my cycle was complete I went to get them and they were still cold And damp. So naturally I thought I did something wrong may have used the wrong setting so I manually put them on for 60 minutes at high temp and after that cycle my clothes were still cold and a little damp. I contacted Home Depot because I purchased an extended warranty but was redirected to LG because it was still under the manufacturers warranty after the runaround with LG. I found out later that because I have a signature model that its a completely different departmentso after a day two of communicating with a text message Ive scheduled an appointment and the dryer has been fixed. I do understand the dryer is a piece of mechanical equipment. Its not built to run forever but after three uses a breakdown. I am extremely skeptical and all of my other appliances with an LG name tag and Ive made a decision not to use this brand in my business of flipping/remodeling homes.

Ive had this dryer for about a week. Ive probably done about 20 loads of laundry so far and I can say that it is a fantastic high capacity dryer. I love that I can dry even my large queen size duvets in it and they actually get dry. It struggled a bit with the king sized duvet - but I dont know of a residential dryer that can handle king duvets. Anyway I highly recommend this dryer.

LG IS PHENOMENAL DELIVERY AND SETUP A NIGHTMARE

We bought the top-of-the-line LG Signature Dryer and Waher with the Pedestals. They are beyond everything weve ever owned before. The place I purchased it from was AJ Madison. Their delivery company is called AM Best. Well it took about a month for us to get things straightened out. We had a Natural Gas Leak and a Washing Machine that was hanging off the Pedestal. We also had a brand new one-week-old house exhaust for the Dryer mangled and they tried to use Duck Tape instead of Aluminum Tape to hide the mess they made. It was a disaster. Once LG Concierge stepped in and directed the proper person to our home he had us cured in a few hours. We are an LG Family. That almost ended here except the people at LG stepped in and save the day. We are grateful for each one of them.

Keeps overheating

Dryer keeps running for too long and overheats. We have had about 10 service calls on this which only fixes it temporarily. Issues began just after one year warranty of course. Dryer vent has been checked twice and semi rigid vent installed. For the amount of headache and money spent on repair and vent cleaning could have purchased a new dryer.

They look great they are quiet they look well constructed. This machine is a powerhouse. I love that I can wash any size load. My favorite feature is that I can delay it to start to the time I want and the app will let me know when its done. I love the email updates on its performance and the reminders when to perform cleaning maintenance. Its like my own personal assistance. I just wish it would dry iron and fold my laundry too.

design flaws

My LG dryer would not work just stopped called customer service for a repair. It took a few days. When the repairman finally arrived I learned that there was a design flaw in the control panel for both the washer and dryer . The flaw is the touchscreens interior has plastic connects that wore out over time. Simple fix right. change the interior pad but to my amazement the same kind of mechanism in on the washer which should have been replaced at the same time....oh no you have to call in for that to be replaced. nWaste of time and money for not only LG but for me.

I brought the LG 5.8 washerDryer and the Mini Pedestal washer in Sept 132021 . I love that I can put 1 blackout curtain in at a time and hang and they dont Wrinkle they come out looking as good as day I brought them . The washer is Great also does my King Comforter with No problem. And I can wash and dry my towels on the setting and they dry.Over all I can say I Love My Washer and Dry and the little one is Great for mask and also sweater and personal items.Its a Litte pricey I will admit .But with Rebates and discounts makes it not as Bad. Over all I am Very Happy so far.

I bought this a month and a half ago and am so happy with it. My old dryer was working but it was almost 15 years old and I had to replace my washer so wanted to get all the updated technology and have a matching set. Ive used most of the cycles on the dryer - towels regular etc. but I have no used the steam part yet. The tub is stainless steel and very large. The clothes come out soft and dry.

Ordered in May arrived was installed in Sept LG tech deemed it was broken from factory in $M house still with no dryer and LG wont give use a replacement nor our money back. Nice way to treat customers.

We purchased this dryer as a match to the washer with the side kick pedestal washer. They are beautiful appliances. They are large barrels that can take all of our comfortersetc in large loads. Easy to use digital settings that cover the full gamut or our wash/dry concerns. They run quiet. They make our close clean and smell fresh unlike our other Whirlpool machines. Cant ask for better. I bought a set of washer dryer as a replacement of a Samsung set that lasted just about a month and stop functioning. couldnt be happier I selected LG and paid a bit more to get the signature series. efficient does what its supposed to do really well can take a large volume at once. Also wifi is built-in unlike Samsung that wants to jack you up bmw tactic by requiring you to buy a separate wifi adapter for each a total of $60+ ridic we are very happy with our LG signature set. such a great peace of mind.
